Dancing!!!

It's nearly 3 a.m. and I just got back from dancing a little bit ago. I find it rather odd that I never really got tired this evening. Especially seeing as my normal bedtime is closer to 9 p.m. and I got up this morning at about 6 a.m. *shrug* Oh well. I had so much fun dancing tonight! A friend from Fairbanks came down and she dragged another friend with her, so the three of us went to dinner at Glacier Brewhouse. (The halibut concoction I had was just about the absolute best halibut dish I've ever had! Too bad it was a special and not a regular menu item.) Then we headed over to Club Soraya for the latin lesson, which proved to be a lot of fun. There were too many guys(!!!) so we felt very welcomed. Then Melissa showed up later. I got to dance with so many different guys, it was great! Had some great conversations with a number of different people too. Met a guy who got a degree in accounting and then went into real estate instead. Another guy is a IT manager. Lots of interesting people, who happen to be great dancers too! :D One of these days though, I'm gonna have to make it to the Thursday night intermediate salsa class that Katya teaches. That's where I'll meet a lot of the really good dancers who are regulars at Soraya. Plus I'll get some practice in on learning how to follow them better. It's rather odd how I can follow nearly anyone in Fairbanks fairly well, but trying to follow the leads here doesn't come quite so naturally. Anyways, I had a great night, but I really must go to bed now. I need to go work out tomorrow after I get up, then buckle down and study the rest of the afternoon. Happy April Fools!!!
