Exam is over...

Well, I finished the exam in 3 hours, I had a total of 4 to do it in. And I think it went alright. We'll see when I get the scores back though... in a month if I'm lucky. In the meantime, I get to start studying for the next one. 1 down, assuming I passed, 3 more to go. But I'm not going to start studying for the next one until after the long weekend is over. I need a break!

Big test tomorrow...

I'm taking the first section of the CPA exam tomorrow. I have studied until I started getting all the answers wrong, which I figure means I need to stop studying. I'm totally not convinced I'll pass, but at least I'll get it done, and hopefully I'll pass anyways... even if it's with literally only 75% (that's the lowest passing grade). Anyways, I'll let you all know what happens when I find out.

Graduation Photos!

Walking in to take my seat. Posted by Picasa
Listening to the boring (and short - in height, not length of speech) speaker. Posted by Picasa
Right after walking across the stage and getting my picture taken, I get my picture taken again, this time by either John or my Dad. Posted by Picasa
And this is by the other one. There's a ring on that ring finger holding my diploma. That's the real reason for such a big smile. :D Posted by Picasa
My seat neighbor is proud of his diploma... cover that is. Posted by Picasa
Balloons!!! That means it's almost time for the recessional! Posted by Picasa
The reception downstairs... I was parched, so I got something to drink before I found my family. They found me quickly enough however. Posted by Picasa

My entire immediate family, from right to left: sister - Cynthia, fiance - John, me, mom - Lynda, brother - Seth, and dad - Ron. Posted by Picasa
A pretty good pic of my brother, Seth, and a not so good one of my mom. Posted by Picasa
My sister stole the camera to give my dad a taste of his own medicine. Too bad he likes it! (She hates having her picture taken.) Posted by Picasa
Brad's mom found us before she found her own graduate! (She gave me the candy wreath.) Posted by Picasa
Her graduate (Brad) showed up soon enough though. I had to see him to show off my ring! Plus Brad was one of the first people I met in college, and we graduated together! I had to get a pic of us together. :D I love you Brad! Thank you for always being such an awesome friend through everything! Posted by Picasa
Patrick (guy in front) showed up to see me and the first thing he did was grab my left hand and say "Oh good! It's green!!!" :D Posted by Picasa
My dad's attempt at a candid photo. Posted by Picasa

A very good graduation. And a very exciting weekend overall. I'm happy. Posted by Picasa

Cinco de Mayo!

It's been awhile since I've written much here. I guess there hasn't been all that much going on, besides the usual, work, study, dance, work out, and the occasional random other thing. But generally I've been pretty happy. Things are going well. Work is great. Studying is still on schedule and going pretty well. Dancing is a total blast, especially since Melissa and I always go together now. Work out is happening, still at 5:30 a.m. and I finally tried the expressway (weight machines) and it went well, so I'll try to keep that up now.

The exciting news, however, is that I'm going to Fbks next weekend for graduation and John is flying up too! :D My parents, siblings and grandparents will be there too, which will be fun. I can't wait to see John though... it has been far too long. I'd tell you how long, but it's too depressing to figure it out. But only 7 more days and I will see him again. Although only for a couple days, but at least it's something.

I finally got some bookshelves for my apartment! I have finally been able to unpack most everything that was still in boxes (primarily books and such). There are a couple boxes I haven't gone through yet, and a couple more that are mostly school books and other things I want to keep, but don't need out and easily accessible. But the majority is out now. Now I just need a table and chairs for my "dining room" (very small, but there nonetheless) and a couple chairs, or maybe a small loveseat for my "living room". Another lamp, some more wallhangings, a small coffee table, and a couple rugs would pretty much finish it out. I'll have to start hitting up garage sales when they get started this summer (soon I would guess).

Tonight Melissa and I are gonna go to Club Soraya and see what the Cinco de Mayo party is like. As long as there's dancing and some good dance partners, I'll be happy. :)
