Well, I suppose I should actually write again instead of relying on meme's to prove I'm still alive. Let me see... this week consisted of work, work, work, dance, work, and a bit more work. Oh, and some working out. Haha. At work I finally got one of the huge tax returns I've been working on for the last month+ finished! That made me very happy. And the other big one that's related is expected to be finished early this next week. In the meantime, they've got me on another huge return. I love partnerships... their size can be absurd (350 partners sound like fun?), but they're fun to do, and it's even more fun to see them finished. Alright... enough about work though. You all probably think I'm speaking in another language there. *shrug* I know John does. Poor guy... he has to put up with me ranting on about my work and saying "uh huh" "cool" "sounds good" and the like. Ha, oh well. I haven't a clue when he starts in on his biology, or dif eq.

I finally checked out the dance lessons at Latitude 61 on Thursday after work. It was an intermediate west coast swing lesson and was a lot of fun, except for towards the end when a whole bunch of smoking poker players started filing in the place and making it very hard to breathe. I really don't understand why people smoke. It's disgusting, harmful to themselves, and its terrible for anyone around them too! The dancing was good though, and I knew a couple people there from previous dances.

I've been working out at Alaska Club lately, but I didn't do so well this week. I made it Monday morning at 5:30 a.m., but Wednesday didn't happen and Friday I overslept my alarm. :P I did go today though. It feels so good to workout, but it's hard to always make myself get up that early on weekdays though. I think I may try to go again tomorrow though, to make up for missing so much. I wish I had a friend to go with though. Linda goes earlier on weekday mornings than I do now, so I usually just catch her for a few minutes when I arrive before she's off.

Hm... I think it's time to make lunch. And switch over my laundry. Then I need to work on getting graduation announcements ready to mail.

I would go to the gym with you. I need to. :-)

You know.. it's going to be awesome going dancing here; people aren't allowed to smoke in clubs. There's a AUD$150 fine for it. Crazy, huh? I love it!

About what???

Kate: Sweet!!! They need a law like that here in AK. Some states have it actually, which is friggin' awesome, but not AK. I guess that won't likely happen anytime soon though. Silly Alaskans.

Actually they passed a law like that here in Sitka. All restaurants (I think that one is statewide) and almost all bars are not only smoke free, but you have to be a certain distance from the entry way of any smoke-free building. I agree that smoking is terribly pointless and harmful to all involved. Then again, I feel that way about drinking too, and many people would argue with me on that one.

I've been having weird dreams too lately, I think it's because the moon is nearly full. Seriously, I think it really affects people. My dream last night was that I found and rescued an abandoned, malnourished infant who was named "kachemak".

Interesting... I am also quite convinced that the full moon does affect us. It's not always predictable though.

And you're right about the no smoking in restuarants, most at least. It's the bars that are the problems. That's cool Sitka banned smoking in bars.
