Ok, crappy picture, but here's what I did this weekend. A "Potato Chip" Ruffled Scarf and a Tam (aka hat) both out of Moda Dea - Dream (a composite yarn of chenille and acrylic fluff... very, very soft!). Posted by Picasa

Love the scarf and tam. Good job! Sounds like some cool yarn. Is it expensive? Did you crochet this project or is it knitted? I'm curious about crochet because I've heard that it goes a little faster. After the sweater I'm finishing a felted bag I'm making for my mom's 50th birthday. It's like knitting a blanket that will end up the size of a small handbag. ; ) But, hey, it will be cool and fuzzy.

Both are crocheted... I've given up on knitting for the time being. I prefer crochet because it's so much easier to do fun patterns and designs than it is in knitting.
The Moda Dea Dream yarn was only about $7 a skein at Michaels. I used almost 4 skeins for the scarf and tam.
You'll have to take pictures of your sweater and bag when they're done and post them! :)
