Training is entirely over now. Most everyone else left yesterday afternoon/evening. I got to stay in the hotel an extra night though since I couldn't get a late enough flight for yesterday. So I leave the hotel today at 2 p.m., fly at 5:30 p.m. and arrive in Anchorage at around midnight. I'm definitely ready to get home, although I definitely enjoyed my time here and am going to miss the people and excitement. Not that there isn't excitement at home. :S I return to a car that won't start without me putting my head under the steering wheel and reaching far to push the damn starter button. Dammit I need a new car. Anyways. I do get to return to my cute little apartment though. I still need furniture, but I like it regardless. Cause it's mine. I don't have to share it, or deal with a roommate, or anything. Although I wouldn't mind if John came to visit for awhile.
Anyways, I was talking about my trip. I've met a whole lot of people while I've been here, and some more particularly. I've got a few good people to call when I have questions about nearly anything. And I met a few really nice people from the Portland, OR office, which is where I may want to transfer after a couple years.
But yes, I'm ready to go home. Training has been fun, both in class and out. But it's time to go home and get some sleep.
