Is it over yet?

My birthday was great. A big thank you to Brad and his family for that. On Sunday, Brad and I drove back to squarebanks. The trip back went very well. There was one area with somewhat slick roads, but the sky was perfectly clear the whole way until we were on campus, where there was some pretty major ice fog.

Today I went to work, then took my car back to the mechanic to get the clutch readjusted again. Apparently my clutch is worn out and will likely need replaced soon. Grr... it was just replaced last December, so I don't see any reason why it should have worn out that quickly. Apparently the clutch itself could probably be replaced under warranty from the previous one, but they're still going to try to make me pay for the labor to put it in, which is around $430. Needless to say, I'm getting very tired of all the trouble this car has caused me. Dammit... I need a job.

I've accepted the offer, yes, but I'm not making any money yet.

I mean I thought you were working at NATC this semester...

Yeah, that too, but I'm not making enough money there to do anything more than buy groceries and gas.

I would consider a second opinion on your vehicle. You did just have that part replaced... if its worn out, its probably because you've been fighting with it for the last few months. And I suspect you've been fighting with it because the mechanic's hadn't gotten it right whenever they adjusted it.

If I'm right, there's no reason you should have to pay for this again.
